How Your Gown Is Boxed
Five steps, all by hand

Before the Day, and After
Pressing & Final Touches
Bought off the rack, shipped or inherited, your gown can arrive with travel creases. We steam and hand press it so it photographs the way it deserves, and our seamstresses can help assist with any alteration or repair needs.
Also for the party: tuxedo and suit cleaning at comparable care.
Cleaning & Preservation
We assess every seam, bead and panel with you and confirm pricing before any work begins. Then your gown is cleaned with gentle, eco friendly System K4 solvent, spot treated and hand finished. Archival boxing is available if you would like your gown preserved.
Typical investment $400 to $1,000+ depending on fabric, detailing and condition · full process of 8 to 12 weeks. Preservation box priced separately.
Wedding Gown Questions
How long does cleaning and preservation take?
The full process takes 8 to 12 weeks. Every gown is assessed, treated and finished individually. Beadwork, lace and layered fabrics are not rushed. If you only need pressing before the day, that is much faster; call us with your date.
How much does it cost?
Our wedding gown cleaning services range from $400 to $1,000+, as pricing depends on the fabric, detailing and condition. Our bridal specialist will assess the gown and provide you with a quote via email. The preservation box is priced separately.
Can I open the box later?
Yes, the box includes a pair of white gloves for you to use to help prevent body oils from transferring while viewing your gown.
My gown is older, or has yellowed. Can it be saved?
Often, yes. Heirloom gowns and gowns stored for years respond well to careful restoration. Bring it in and we will tell you honestly what can be done before you commit to anything.
Do I need to come to a store?
No. Free pick up and delivery covers Greater Vancouver. That said, many brides prefer to bring the gown in for the assessment, and any of our three locations can receive it.
